Scope of work:

 

  • Erosion control measures

  • Demo existing site features; signage, fencing, tennis court surfacing, asphalt pavement, concrete walks

  • Remove topsoil and screen onsite

  • Cut & fill to subgrade

  • Install underground stormwater drainage with concrete structures

  • Install underground sewer piping, including septic tank and concrete manholes

  • Install 4,500 LF concrete curbing

  • Install 31,000 sqft concrete walks

  • Install gravel blanket at softball infield

  • Install softball backstop with tension netting

  • Install perimeter fencing of softball field

  • Install batting cage

  • Install tennis nets, basketball hoops and perimeter fencing @ tennis court

  • Install 200 LF Magnum Stone retaining wall

  • Install 9,000 ton asphalt subbase

  • Install 5,600 ton asphalt paving

  • Install asphalt striping for bus, student, and faculty parking

  • Install custom campus directional signage

  • Install campus post and chain fencing

  • Install SOD softball outfield

  • Install topsoil, seed & mulch

Smith Site Development partnered with Harpursville Central School District to vastly improve their campus parking while including a new softball field, relocating tennis courts and transportation facility. With a late fall 2024 start, the softball field was turned over and ready for play spring of 2025. The parking lots and campus upgrades were successfully completed in time for the 2025-26 student return.
